Summer is synonymous with moules frites. Honfleur, with its Old Harbour, supplies all the restaurants on our Terre d'Estuaire. Here, the emphasis is on short supply chains, to preserve all the flavours of our maritime treasures and put them on your plate.

Biscuits made in Normandy
Normandy's gastronomy is diverse and varied. The most popular biscuit factory is Jeannette's. Norman know-how since 1850. 100% natural products , with no preservatives or colourings. Norman sweets just the way we like them. The team of passionate Normans prepare and sell made-in-Normandy cakes such as almond financiers and orange-flavoured madeleines. All with the great taste of home-made butter!
If you're a fan of Normandy shortbread , or if you'd like to try some while you're in Normandy, we recommend a visit to the artisan biscuit factory at Asnelles, which is located on the D-Day landing beaches. Like the Jeannette biscuit factory, the Asnelles shortbread is made using traditional methods and no preservatives are used. You can take a 20-30 minute tour of the patisserie's laboratories. Then sit down on the terrace with a view of the D-Day landing beaches and enjoy your Asnelles shortbread facing the sea.
